Framing Plans with Cut-Sheets & Drop Packages
The innovation and level of detail contained within our framing plans and material cut-sheets are unparalleled to any similar service available. It is our opinion that quality and value of a framing material takeoff lies in the estimator’s ability to communicate the intended use of each item estimated.
Framing plans include wall, ceiling and roof framing members tagged by individual member sizes and lengths. Plans include both 2D and 3D isometric views. They may be based on IRC prescriptive framing methods, or used to compliment your engineer’s design. Additionally, any field framing members required by your roof truss and floor system designs can be synchronized and quantified, as well.
All estimated materials are reported on detailed cut-sheets, and then summarized by material drops. The cut-sheets are designed to complement the framing plans. They outline the intended use and quantity for each component estimated.
A simplified cut schedule is published on each plan as a guide for the exact nominal length board for cutting short members. This optimization method is designed to align the framer with the estimator for optimized material use.
